sExercise: Kegel Exercises
Pubococcygeus muscle also known as PC muscle or Pelvic Floor muscles is a hammock-like muscle found in both men and women that stretches from the pubic bone to the tail bone which forms the floor of the pelvic region and supports the pelvic organs. These muscles are responsible for bladder control, pushing out babies, and having great orgasms. The stronger these muscles are the more voluntary control you will have over them.
There are exercises you can do regularly which will help both strengthen the PC muscles and give you more control over them. These exercises are called Kegel Exercises, named after named after Arnold Kegel the gynecologist who invented them.
The first step in strengthening the PC muscle is to locate it. The easiest way to do this is to stop the flow of urine mid stream when you are going to the bathroom. You do not want to continue stopping the flow of urine, as this can lead to serious complications! Just do it to locate the right muscle. Another way for women to find it is to insert 1 finger inside the vagina and try to squeeze the surrounding muscles. If your still having trouble finding them don't be afraid to ask your doctor!
Once you've found the right muscle, empty your bladder and get comfortable. Make sure you relax. You want to isolate the PC muscle and only contract it, not the other surrounding muscles like your abdomen, thighs, or buttocks. Don't hold your breath. Relax and focus on only the PC muscle.
Contract your PC muscle and Hold for 3 seconds, then relax for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times. Try that for a while and then increase to 4 seconds holding, 4 seconds resting. Keep working up the muscles till you can comfortably hold for 10 seconds and rest for 10 seconds.
Other techniques for Kegel exercises include counting quickly to 10 or 20 and contracting and relaxing your PC muscle every time you say a number.
Do your Kegels 3 times a day. Perform a set of 10 Kegels each time. They get easier the more often you do them. Some people remember to do them by doing them every time they do a routine task such as stopping at a red light, checking email, or right after going to the bathroom. Make sure whatever activities you choose you do regularly.
Don't expect to see results over night and don't expect the first few times to be easy. It takes some getting used to like any new workout routine. As your body gets more used to it and as the muscles strengthen, it will become a little easier. Just think of the great sex you will have.
Have Fun and Happy Orgasms.
